TEACHING FAMILIES WITH TEENAGERS

Something positive about Hometeaching.  I visit a family where four of the children have just been baptised.  The 2 daughters are having the new member discussions.  We have had very little success teaching there before as there is very little discipline in the house with only one parent.  I wasn't looking forward to our last visit as it is usually hard going trying to keep their attention with all fighting and wrestling going on.  Well we taught the 4th discussion ( in a reverent atmosphere, amazing!!! ) and not only will they list down their friends for missionary discussions, but the eldest wanted to know how to get to seminary.  It didn't take long to organise a ride.

It's sometimes like mining for gold.  But when you strike a nugget it makes it all worth while.
